What does Andy think about working at Evoluted?
"I've been with Evoluted for over a decade now and each day has brought fresh new challenges due to the diversity of work that has come my way. This, along with getting to work with a talented team of great people, makes working here an enjoyable experience."
Andy continues:
“Accessibility is something I’m truly passionate about, and luckily something I get to make a meaningful impact on in my work at Evoluted, which makes me feel part of the bigger picture. Accessibility is still too often treated as an afterthought, when in reality it should be built into the foundations of every website. I strongly believe accessibility should be seen as an exciting and important part of our work as developers — not just as a compliance exercise, but as a way to create better digital experiences for everyone.
“Those with accessibility needs are not a small minority in our society. In fact, according to Government Official Statistics, in the UK alone, nearly one in four working-age adults has a disability, meaning a significant proportion of users may struggle to navigate poorly designed sites.
Creating accessible websites, apps and content gives people greater independence, helps organisations reach wider audiences, and plays an essential role in ensuring equality, inclusion and legal compliance. It’s something I care deeply about, and I’ll continue championing accessibility and driving meaningful change wherever I can.”
