Accessibility Statement
At Evoluted, we create award winning websites; we want to ensure these are inclusive and accessible to everyone. We aim to meet or exceed the accessibility standards set out in the UK Equality Act (2010) and the European Accessibility Act. This is our accessibility statement for our own website.
Standards
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Evoluted strives to comply with WCAG version 2.2 AA standards. Our commitment to accessibility is guided by the core principles Perceivability, Operability, Understandability and Robustness (POUR).
We use these standards to guide our approach to creating accessible websites, including this one.
Features
We have created this website so that people should be able to:
navigate using a keyboard, or alternative devices
change the text size through the web browser
zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We continually review the website to ensure that it is accessible and understandable to as many people as possible.
Known issues
While our goal is to make this website accessible to all, we know that in some areas there are issues:
some images are missing text alternatives
content in the carousels overflows when using increased text sizes
some text cannot be increased in size through the web browser
there is no way of pausing the carousel slides

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Evoluted website. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please send us an email to: info@evoluted.net

What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We have made digital accessibility key to all the work we do at Evoluted. We provide continual accessibility training for our team and test our work for accessibility issues. Where we have identified issues, we aim to fix these as quickly as possible.
